Pyle's Gun is a five piece rock band  from Rochester, NY that plays a wide variety of music from many different artists and musical genres.  You'll hear everything from the 70's to the 80's, 90's and current  era rock.

    Our band's main objective is to accurately and professionally perform music that everyone in the crowd can enjoy. We constantly strive to always draw out the most power, soul and feel from every song that we perform. Best described, we are a powerful hard driving rock band that you can sing and dance to, and that will leave you drained for energy and anxious for our next show.

   The bands line up consists of all experienced players that know their instrument well:

   Kevin Kimmerly - lead vocals

   Scott Preston - lead guitar, stringed instruments

   Gordon Achter - drums, percussion

   Jeremy Eccleston - guitar, keyboards

   Vince Capra (on hiatus)- bass guitar

David Sorrells - bass guitar

   Scott has been playing guitar for 30+ years and uses 6 string and 7 string guitars set up in many different tunings depending on the song requirements. With all professional equipment and many types of guitars available, Scott always has the right sound for the song. Scott also plays mandolin and fiddle.

   Gordon has also been playing drums for 30+ years and uses a 6 piece Pearl kit with double kick pedals for the times we need that extra drive. Energetic and powerful, Gordon puts in all the touches that need to be there and keeps the band on a tight meter.

   Jeremy has been playing for 15+ years and is proficient on both the guitar and the keys. Jeremy covers all of the sounds that fill in the different music that we play. A tight rhythm guitar player and talented keyboard player Jeremy keeps things tightened up and driving on throughout the whole show.

   Vince has been playing for 6+ years and uses 4 string and 5 string basses to keep that rock bottom low end. With an Ampeg driven stack with the power of a Mack truck Vince has a powerful, tight sound with a ton of drive.

   Kevin has been singing for 10+ years. With a wide vocal range Kevin can cover most any vocal style. Always energetic and with a powerful voice with tons of range, Kevin always keeps it exciting out front and keeps the crowd going.
